Her influence upon her descendants was 'magical'
In Memory of
Am. Can. Ch. Ko-Dee-Ak Kitty Hawk, ROM
January 13, 1990 to February 16, 2001
American and Canadian Ch. Ko-Dee-Ak Kitty Hawk was a truly great showdog and foundation bitch. Her contributions to the breed, to her progeny, and to THIS kennel have been immeasurable.
Those who knew her recognized her for her oustanding conformation, wonderful temperament and the ability to pass on her traits. A bitch like this is rare, and those who are fortunate enough to have known her and raised her progeny are richer for the experience.
As one of the fortunate ones, owning a grandaughter and great-grandkids of this wonderful dog, Yutori Akitas salutes Kitty Hawk and her owner, Jeanne Galindo Hayes.
We mourn her passing and are grateful for her offspring.
Sleep well, sweet Kitty Hawk. You are in our hearts forever.

Kitty Hawk at 11 weeks

In 1997, Kitty Hawk was Best of Opposite Sex over regular class specials, after winning the Veteran's Class at the Golden Gate Akita Club Independent Specialty in March, photo above. As a puppy in 1990, she won her class (9-12 month) at the ACA National Specialty in Knoxville, Tennesee.
