If beauty lives, it lives in this book. This is the story of two children, who grew up together and created a living memorial greater than themselves. The book is a story of dedication. It tells of Brice Wilcox and Taffy Morgan and the influences that led them to plant an old, abandoned hillside with daffodils. The lack of parental influence had a heavy personal cost for Brice, pulling him into mental illness. The causes of his illness are explored: the people he loved and who loved him how it enabled him to overcome his troubles. Both create and find an everlasting beauty, to fill, and ultimately satisfy his life.
