Midas is my long awaited, much anticipated 'Sonja' son. I have been waiting for an exceptionally nice boy to show, preferring to breed my own boy. As experienced Akita breeders know, that special male is really hard to find. Many hopes and dreams are resting on this guy, and I only hope that he really IS my "Golden Opportunity".

Midas has been OFA'd: hips, 'Good', elbows and knees normal. Thyroid (MSU), and CERF'd. Litter sister Keeper is OFA hips 'Good', elbows and knees normal, and CERF'D. Brother Punky has also received OFA 'Good' hips, elbows and knees normal and CERF'd .

Keeper is Thyroid normal (MSU), OFA hips good, knees & elbows normal.
Keeper has been placed in a loving companion home where she can be the center of someone's life. We did not need her to move forward with our breeding plans, but had no intention of placing her. She is such a sweet and calm girl that she was a welcome member of our family and always would be. When a perfect home approached us unexpectedly, we decided not to stand in her way, and allowed a meeting to see what Keeper might want. She fell in love. After some careful evaluation, we decided she would have a more fulfilled life as one of 2 dogs instead of sharing time with all the dogs at Yutori. She is now the apple of Jason's eye and Keeper couldn't be happier. Keeper will always have a home here no matter what, but we think she is already in her forever home. At every visit, she makes it clear that she is happy with her new life.
